News

We are drawing towards the end of a very busy season and we are now planning the productions for the coming academic year 2010-11

  • Why Create a Drama? The pilot period of the two strands for Primary and Secondary Schools has now been completed. The two resulting plays are called Gold Stars And Dragon Marks (for P4-P7) and A Big Boy Done It And Ran Away (for S3-S6). An official launch was held in the Scottish Youth Theatre on Tuesday 20th April 2010 and we are now planning a tour during September and October 2010
  • The Nine Lives of Roddy Hogg and Friends Disunited teams will be touring Scotland throughout the Autumn/Winter terms 2010 as part of the renewed contract with Road Safety Scotland
  • Urban Roadeo
  • The tour for 2009 finished on 13th November. It has travelled to many Probus, Rotary, Church Guild, Older Person Forum Groups and others all over Scotland. A short tour of North Yorkshire during the week beginning 19th April 2010 proved to be the last tour of the play as it has been disbanded in favour of the production of a new inter-generational play for the academic year 2011-12
  • The Baldy Bane Panto "By The Light Of The Brilliant Blue Moon" Christmas 2010 is currently booking up
  • The Journey - a Road Safety play for Primary 6 will be touring Scotland from January until April 2011.
  • Cyberspyder: There will be 2 performances of this play in Angus in September 2010
  • Contact the office if you would like to book any of our productions or would like more information about the work of Baldy Bane.
