Theatre

For the past nineteen years Baldy Bane has developed the presentation of exciting, lively and challenging theatre. Themes have included Scottish history, myths and legends. Colourful Christmas productions are eagerly awaited by children, some of whom have seen our seasonal offerings every year since they started school

For other audiences (12 to 55+) we present plays on a number of issue-based topics dealing with personal safety, domestic violence, bogus callers, cyberbullying and misuse of the internet by predatory paedophiles. We also present a comprehensive programme of road safety productions that cover primary and secondary schools, as well as the more experienced and mature road users within the community
