Friends Disunited

Play for senior pupils dealing with the fun and responsibilities involved with becoming a new driver and getting your first car. It follows the lives of four friends at secondary school. Bruce, Vicky, Stevey and Jody who see the acquisition of a car as their passage into adulthood. Stevey’s erratic driving soon becomes a cause for concern. The friendships begin to fragment as the play culminates in an accident that leaves their lives badly affected. The play shows how the dreams and ambitions of young people can be utterly shattered in a moment by someone driving carelessly
