It’s the eve of the double blue moon, an event that occurs once every 19 years. Brave young Ailsa has been chosen by the village elders to guard the lunar crystal that maintains the harmony of the world’s balance of Light and Dark. However in the land of Doonablow, jealous Goblins seek to steal the crystal for themselves. Will Ailsa be able to retain the crystal or will the Goblins trick her and return the world to darkness?

Baldy Bane Theatre has been entertaining primary school children across Central Scotland for over 19 years, delivering lively and imaginative storytelling; combined with slapstick humour and specially composed music to create a magical treat for your pupils.

We can perform in your assembly hall, dining room or gym. If you have a large school population, we can perform two shows in one day.
